Founded in 2000 by Jack Lam, Eagle Trend has a successful and proven track record in achieving stellar returns for our investors in property developments, wine cellar, service apartments in Hong Kong. We have co-founded Star Properties (a property developer Listed on the Main Board Stock Code 1560), We have also established private property investor platform OXO Capital. We have also invested and created in other business like Metropolitan Apartments, Metropolitan Wine Cellars, Metropolitan Mini Storage.

Jack Lam - CEO & managing partner responsible for devising business strategies, overall management and project development management for the group. Jack is a seasoned property developer with proven track records for over 30 years of property experience in Hong Kong and on the mainland of China. Jack is co-founder of Star Group listed on the Main Board of HKSE.

Chester Chu - managing partner responsible for design management and business development. Chester is a registered architect and Authorised Person (Architect).

Alex Liu - managing partner responsible for compliance, investor relationship and fund raising. Alex is a seasoned lawyer and has over 30 years experience dealing with property deals in Hong Kong.

Lilian Cheng, CFA - group CFO, responsible for financial management for the group. Lilian has previously held senior management positions in a private Family Office and Corporate Finance Division for a property ListCo in Hong Kong.

When the building was acquired in 2010, it was a dialipiated walkup building just like many other old buildings as you could find in run down urban areas in Hong Kong. Too small to turn it into a redevelopment project, the idea was to revitalise it into a serviced apartment block for steady rental income. It is located in the centre of Causeway Bay, Hong Kong and well served by many amenities like shopping, F&Bs and good public transport networks.

For this particular project, we had to go through Lease Modification negotiation with Lands Department and other government departments on difficult issues like traffic and parking requirements. This was a time consuming process but we managed to negotiate a good deal and creating great returns for our investors. It’s a great example of our commitment to delivering quality development projects and seeing it through challenging issues.

The existing building is a warehouse building and will be demolished and converted into a high rise residential complex with some podium F&Bs. We acquired this site in 2016 when this area was still more or less an industrial / warehouse zone. We expected a huge enhancement in value due to re-zoning of this area into a residential district well connected to other parts of Hong Kong via West Rail.

In the last 10—12 years, Niseko has gone from a moribund, failing Japanese ski resort, literally falling apart at the seams, to a place that is rapidly resembling Aspen, with all of the trappings of luxury that entails.
Young professionals and families from Australia began visiting, together with wealthy individuals from Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Korea. As well as skiing in winter, these tourists would often return in the other seasons for hiking, cycling, kayaking, golf and other outdoor activities.
Whatever reasons they visited Niseko, these tourists wanted more luxurious accommodation than hostels favoured by their backpacking predecessors. This project aims to capture this new trend by creating new types of resort accommodation for the booming middle & upper class of Asia.

Established since 2011
To capture the expanding wine market in Hong Kong due to lifting of important tax of red wines, we have estalished this wine storage business to HKQAA Fine Wine Standards for fine wine investors and wine traders. Since its operations, we become one of the best fine wine cellar operators in Hong Kong because of the best quality hardware and all rounded management services that we provide to our customers.
METRO APARTMENTS
Established since 2011
We carried out thorough market studies on the demand, acceptable rental level, level of services required...etc. Once we established the business strategies suitable for this walk up building, we devised the design brief including its "colonial" design theme, we managed the design and construction process and established the marketing /sales and operation teams. Because of the vigorous and wholistic approach in the way we did for this business set up, we are able to acieve steady and stellar rental returns for our investors since its operations in 2011.
